Priest drinking in a pub during a revival of the Church of England

One of the key principles for the New Emangelization is the importance of drawing Catholic men together in fellowship.

The first generation disciples of Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church emphasized fellowship (Acts 2:42):

And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

Gathering Catholic men together in prayer and perhaps for a pint is good for men’s souls.

Randy Hain offers a wonderful reflection on the importance of Catholic brotherhood over at IntegratedCatholicLife.org.
