Discussion with Emily Stimpson
Recently I had the blessing to be speak with Emily Stimpson, Catholic writer and evangelist.
Emily has written a number of books, including her most recent book, co-authored with Brian Burch, The American Catholic Almanac: A Daily Reader of Patriots, Saints, Rogues, and Ordinary People Who Changed the United States.
Emily also a contributing editor to Our Sunday Visitor and a regular blogger at CatholicVote.org where she writes with a special focus on the Church’s teachings on marriage, sexuality, and femininity.
Over the years, her writing have also appeared in First Things, Touchstone and the National Catholic Register.
Emily holds a BA from Miami University of Ohio has done graduate work at John Hopkins University and Franciscan University. Prior to her focus on Catholicism, Emily worked as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Jim Talent and at the Heritage Foundation, where she served as Special Assistant to former Attorney General Edwin Meese.
