Discussion with Jerome Richter – The Knights of Virtue
Recently, I had the pleasure to speak with Jerome Richter.
Jerome is the Vice President of Academic Affairs at University of Mary in North Dakota. Previously, he taught at the college and high school level and received numerous awards for excellence in teaching, including being a finalist for the National Catholic Educator of the Year.
In addition to his teaching, Jerome has been active in the formation of young men. He has served a coach at the collegiate level in wrestling and football. In addition, Jerome is the founder of the Knights of Virtue, a Catholic organization that helps young men build lives of virtue, holding Jesus Christ and the many Saints as models of virtue. The Knights of Virtue has had a powerful impact on vocations, generating 12 seminarians so far.
He holds an undergraduate degree from North Dakota State and a masters in Education from Georgetown University.
