I recently spoke with Jason Slattery, Principal of Ave Maria Academy in Maple Grove Minnesota. Ave Maria Academy is a K-8 Catholic School that was founded in the mid-1990’s and has broken ground on a new facility that will double the size of the student body in the first phase.

From the Ave Maria Mission Statement: “Rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition, Ave Maria Academy forms young minds, hearts, and souls through a commitment to clear thinking, academic achievement, character formation, prayer, and service.

Jason Slattery has been principal at Ave Maria for the past 8 years, working closely with the Archdiocese of St. Paul Minneapolis and the dedicated parents to both survive and now expand. Jason holds a Masters of Arts from the University of St. Thomas and a Degree in Theology from Saint John Vianney College Seminary in St. Paul.
