The New Emangelization – The Catholic “man-crisis” and what to do about it

Recently, I was asked to speak at Saint Paul’s Outreach “Men on a Mission” breakfast.
Here is a short summary of some of the ideas coming out of the New Emangelization Project so far. In the presentation, I outline:
- There is a Catholic “man-crisis”; it is widespread and serious in its long term impact on the Church.
- There are a number of reasons why men are drifting away from the Church.
- A set of principles to guide a New Emangelization are emerging; in the discussion, I outline 6 principles (recognizing that the principles are preliminary).
My prayer is that this talk will move you to take action now…in your personal life, your family, your parish, your diocese and the broader world.
